Doctrinal Statement

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and are inerrant; there are no contradictions, no inaccuracies, and no false scientific information. We believe that the Old and New Testaments are the final authority in all areas of life (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21).

13:14; Deut. 6:4; John 14:10, 26

We believe in one God eternally existing in three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4 & Matthew 28:18-19).

We believe Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. He died a substitutionary death for our sin that through Him we might be declared righteous before God (Matthew 1:18, Luke 1:27, Romans 4:25, 5:8, I Corinthians 1:30, I John 5:11-13).

We believe that God the Holy Spirit is a personal being who convicts, regenerates indwells, empowers, guides, and bestows gifts on believers and seals them eternally for God (John 16:7-11, I Corinthians 12, Ephesians 1:13).

We believe man was created by a direct act of God in His image, that all men sinned in Adam, inherited a sinful nature, and thus incurred both physical and spiritual death (Genesis 1-2 & Romans 5:12).

We believe man was created in the image of God from dust, as a perfectly created being, Adam; that he sinned and incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God. We believe that all humans are born with a sinful nature (Genesis 1:26, Genesis 2:17, Romans 3:1-23, Romans 5:12).

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from human merit (Romans 3:9-23, Romans 5:12, II Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe that Jesus Christ physically rose from the dead and he ascended to heaven, where He continually ministers as our Great High Priest (Matthew 18:5-6, Acts 1:10-11, Romans 8:34). We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, and the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, with everlasting blessedness of the just and everlasting punishment for the unjust (John 5:28-29, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, I Corinthians 15:51-52).

We believe that all believers are under the mandate of Jesus Christ to proclaim the gospel to all the world (Matthew 28:19-20 & Mark 16:15).

We believe that the church, composed of all those who truly believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior, is the body and bride of Christ. Christ is the head of the Body, the church; because we are one body we should strive to live in unity with one another (Ephesians 1:22-23, I Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 4:3).
