Preschool (K4 & K5)

The preschool program of Garland Christian Academy consisting of K4 & K5 is designed to provide a warm, welcoming environment in which students take their first steps toward group education and socialization. Our skilled, caring teachers help students absorb the fundamental principles of language arts, mathematics, and the Bible. Language arts instruction consists primarily of phonics practice to develop word recognition, spelling, vocabulary, and reading proficiency. The mathematics program focuses on number recognition, counting, telling time, and simple addition and subtraction.

Biblical truth is an essential ingredient of all studies; therefore, we devote time to the study of Scripture in and of itself. During this time, students sing, listen to Bible stories, and memorize Bible verses.
