A Message from the
Athletic Director

Thank you for taking time to learn about Garland Christian Academy athletics. I believe athletics can develop young individuals in a unique way. Athletics provides us the opportunity to test ourselves on how to exhibit teamwork, communication, and develop a healthy work ethic. This all glorifies our Lord. Paul states in 1 Corinthians 9:24

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.

In this verse Paul is telling us that we need to prepare to be successful and that takes all three of those attributes mentioned, as well as, many more other attributes. At GCA I hope that we build those life lessons of teamwork, communication, and a healthy work ethic so that your student may be successful in their field of study on and off the court and in the game of life.

A little about me . I graduated Pensacola Christian College in 2017 with a Sports Management degree. I married my wife Holly and we have two kiddos Korbyn and Oaklyn. We also have a miniature husky named Tigg. I have been a part of an athletic department since I was in elementary. My dad was an athletic director growing up, so I quickly became an intern in my middle school and high school years, so I have been around athletics my whole life and enjoy it everyday.

I am excited to see where God takes this athletic department!

Let’s Go Swords,

Coach E
